Pete Balsells celebrated his 90th birthday with family, friends, Bal Seal employees and other guests including Balsells Fellowship program directors at Irvine, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Davis. His cake was decorated as a Catalan flag and the event was held

The Balsells Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine celebrated its 20th anniversary with a luncheon at the Avenida Palace Hotel in Barcelona. Approximately 160 people attended the event including Balsells Fellows and members of the academic institutions in Catalonia.
