April 2009: Former Balsells postdoctoral fellow Marc Medrano has been appointed associate professor.

Marc Medrano, a former Balsells postdoctoral fellow with the Advanced Power and Energy Program (APEP) at UC Irvine, has been appointed associate professor (professor agregat) in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, where he was previously working as a Ramon y Cajal researcher since 2005, upon leaving UCI in December 2004.
