Julius Klein, a 2003 Balsells fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering UC Irvine has successfully defended his Ph.D dissertation and received his Ph.D degree from UCI in March of 2009. Julius Klein, a graduate from the Universitat de Girona developed a thesis on Performance Enhancing Mechanisms for Human Manipulation. His is the 8th Ph.D degree received by a Balsells fellow. He has currently a postdoctoral position in the Biomechatronics Lab (MAE) at UCI. Eventually, He plans to return to Catalonia to pursue an academic and research career.
